My Reflection
In this activity my task was to do like a brainstorm then I made an article to make a newspaper report.
I felt kind of excited because doing a newspaper report would be super cool!
The most challenging thing was when we had to think of a good article because we have to pretend   we´re famous newspaper people.
The most helpful thing was when we got to do a small brainstorm to start of our article.

Six sentence stories

My Reflection
In this activity my task was about doing six sentence stories My story  was humorous but quite sad.
 the success criteria our success criteria was to have at least six sentences.
I need to improve on doing less then like 8 sentences.
My next steps are to improve on doing less then 8 sentences .

Making predictions

in this activity my task was to make predictions of the most hilarious book in the world like you would not believe me but gangsta granny is the best she is the cabbage queen she smells like a cabbage Ben must be agitated if he had to come to her house anyone would actually.
The success criteria was to use the title for predictions and I understood about it because never judge a book by its cover so it was a gangsta granny don´t ever judge your grandma
I can now talk about hilarious books like why would someone smell like rotten cabbage you´re talking to the cabbage queen right now just kidding I am not a cabbage queen we´re off topic now lets get back.
The most helpful thing was when we didn´t have to do a slide.

How many Weeks,Days,Hours and minutes

My Reflection
In this activity I had to work out how many weeks, days, hours and last of all minutes like really..
I felt a bit weird because I thought we had to do seconds and that is just to much
I felt proud because I did not even struggle to much at all.
My next steps are to add some more description to explain how I worked out minutes and hours and how I would explain to people so they would understand me in my point of view.

Bug masks

My Reflection

In this activity we made bug masks now we reflect about them... Well we made bug masks and it took us like months!!! We only just finished our antenna yesterday.

I found this amazing because then we get to skip some work  hooray!

The most challenging thing was painting them since I could keep seeing the white spots.

The most helpful thing is when didn´t have to make them.

In this activity I got assigned equivalent fractions recently we have  been doing equivalent fractions at first the tangents didn´t know what it was so Miss Fisher showed us a video not only us the whole video

Bug hotel proposal

My reflection
WAL to make a proposal to send to the bosses (including Mrs Plowright trustees) a proposal is a kind of speech to someone.
Our following proposal must have all this
We are proposing so we can get permission so making a hotel.

Adjectives and adverbs

My Reflection
In this activity I had to highlight each adverb adjective and powerful if you don´t know a powerful word is a word like I was delighted when I saw those diamonds.
and adjective is a word that describes a noun and an adverb is a word that says how the person did it
My success criteria was to achieve what adjectives and adverbs and how to identify examples
my other success criteria was to write my own sentences with adjectives and adverbs which I did do
I am still learning to use more adjectives because I did not really support/describe nouns
I need to improve on using more adjectives to describe nouns so then I will hook the reader in to my wriitng
The most helpful thing was when we only had to describe water I hope Miss Fisher does not say describe fire water hydrogen etc then it will take forever to finish.

Speeches 2018 - Draft

My Reflection
In this activity I had to do a google doc draft for my speech so we I or someone in my class can get into speech finals.
I can now add multiple facts about crashes main reason seat belts
I am still learning to not talk about gross and horrible things because people may get horrified
I need improve on adding more detail to my conclusion because it good be less then $350.

Figurative language

My Reflection
In this activity I had to highlight the personification like if the fire was a person so the wind or the people were feeding it you could imagine it was moving so like if you fed it could show an emotion of being full if the wind was moving non-stop then it could have an emotion of anger or it could be frustrated those are my examples.
My success criteria was to complete what personification is so like I have to understand the meaning of personification and I can share my thinking of figurative language so I can share my thinking with others I think.
 The most helpful thing was when I watched the video at first I didn't know what personification meant so now I can talk about personification.

Identifying persuasive techniques

My Reflection
In this activity my task was to describe the 6 persuasive techniques like repetition, testimonial,slogan,bandwagon and stuff so repetition is repeating slogan is a phrase or statement like Richie McCaw supports a shop or fonterra milk because he does support fonterra really he does.
I had a success criteria to identify the techniques and explain the technique like repetition I would repeat my explanation.
I want to know more about the techniques.

Portrait creator-wonder

My Reflection

In this activity I had too create a portrait of August Pullman 

No success criteria it was easy though all we had to do his choose things for his accessories hat hair and I tried comparing to August Pullman

I did the decorating good  :D

I felt awesome because all we did was decorate this avatar.

In this activity my task was to compare each other if there different or common.

In this activity my task was to guess what the word means then use the dictionary to check the real meaning.
There was success criteria so I know what I had to do and what I had to complete.
I am still learning to do lots more word meanings.
I am most proud of me getting close to the meaning.
The most helpful thing was when we got to use the dictionary.

Treacher Collins syndrome

 My Reflection
In this activity I had to list down things that happened to August or like how it affects him what is it and stuff.
No success criteria still wasn't  hard since all the questions were listed down.
I felt exhausted since because I did a lot of typing.
I am most proud of when I kept trying so I could finish fast.
The most helpful thing was when Miss Fisher listed down what we needed to complete and type in.

My Reflection
In this activity I had to do 10th- 100th- 10th+ 100+ and I had to do the stuff and add
No success criteria tricky but I kept trying anyways
I did good in everything I felt amazing for giving a try.
My next steps are to not chat a lot and give more describing for how I worked it out.

In this activity I had to be August Pullman and share what happens if I was August Pullman
My success criteria waws too I can describe characters and their behaviors and I can compare
characters in a text to myself that means I can describe that characters and I compare there text and relate it to me.
I am still learning too add more detail for all cons and pros
Something helpful is when there is a success criteria
My next steps are too sequence everything in order so it will make more sense.

Summarising 100 words wonder learning centre

My Reflection
In this activity I had to summarise 100 hundred words before I did I had to read the book to learn all about it.
My success criteria was too choose the important words in the text and order the sequence in events.
I can summarise 100 important words
The most challenging thing was choosing 100 important words because I got mixed up while reading so it got very challenging
My next steps are too choose more important words.

In this activity I had to type in all the success criteria add some detail to be successful
My success criteria was to copy all the ideas and conclusion and introduction
I can now add more paragraphs to my ideas

My Reflection
In this task I had too highlight the part of the explanation like the introduction, main body etc and add patterns like if they were the same
I did the ideas very well by reading every single explanation I feel exhausted about this because we did all kinds of well balanced argument writing.
I need to try writing my own explanation.
The most helpful thing was when we had all the like other argument writings it was like they were practice's.

I am still learning too do bigger paragraphs for idea

WALT identify the features of a well balanced argument.
Can you try doing this?  We had to highlight the different parts of the story in case it was had is that hard or tricky I guess its easy we had to highlight the introduction, Conclusion,transitional phrases, and other stuff

in this activity my task was to see the video of mouthparts then I would have to write it into the google doc.
it was easy because the video was technically helping me get all the answers so I didn't have to read the whole thing.

My Reflection

In this activity I had to do my task assigned from my teacher and I had to work it out I had to work out this question what is rounding number of 69,069 I knew it was 69,000 because it said nearest thousand  and it has 69 a tens number and it was not over 500 if it was it would 70,000 and that´s  how I worked it out 

it was easy because we just had to work what it´s nearest thousand was and I worked that out very quickly 

My next steps are to explain more information so it can make more sense.

In this task I had to write a poem about what I am.
I felt happy about it because we could like describe our self so weirdly I think I did very well.

I had to read some articles to find my answers it was pretty hard but I got through it I also learnt some new things.
I found it difficult because my buddy and me worked together.

In this activity I had too type about my summer. It was very descriptive
It was easy because all we had too do was describe about my summer.

My Reflection

I got a responsibility certificate cool right? I got a certificate for using responsibility I used responsibility

by doing stuff quickly and picking up stuff that I did not use.

my next steps are too get another certificate for resilience probably and I will not give up and never give up.
