Maths Challenges 2017

 My Reflection
In this activity my task was to do each question on reflection, challenge I only mostly used addition.
I found this easy because I just used addition.
I am most proud of me doing my best.
My next steps are to use multiplication, and division.

Fractured fairy tales 2017

My Reflection
In this activity we had to make another fairy tale, but in a different way and we had to change the characters so I mixed Jack and the beanstalk, and the three little pigs, and I made it funny.
I found it easy because we got to use a story planner, I find it easier.
I am most proud of me doing lots of work.
My next steps are to add a little more detail, and make my sentence more sense.

My Reflection In this activity I had to write my favorite moments in school, I chose the most fun ones. I enjoyed doing the bit were you choose your shapes and font. and I enjoyed doing lots of work.

Te Tuhi Dream House T4

My Reflection 

In this activity I went to Te Tuhi for my trip and we did drawings. It was fun we could do anything like anything I know right I added a unicorn in a the background it was funny, we were working on a dream house. 

I enjoyed because we could do elevators pipes and slides to get to rooms. I did a helicopter to just add something. 

Bunnings workshop T4 W3

My Reflection 

In this activity I had to use real tools because Bunnings people were here we were making a big pot, for flowers, to put in and it was for our parents on Christmas. 

I found this easy because we could use a hammer, and nails.

I enjoyed doing the hammering it was quite loud. 

Lines of symmetry T4 W4

My Reflection
In this activity my task was to do line of symmetry I was with my buddy we had to find out how we could make it equal and we did.
I found this easy cause I have already done lines of symmetry on Mathletics that's how I know it.
I am most proud of my buddy and me finding it out.
My next steps are to use my Geometry and add some more lines and I need to improve on geometry, and making them more equal.

The Haunted House

My Reflection
In this activity my task was to read the story then answer the question.
I found this tricky because the story was huge and I couldn't keep track of the words and I wasn't reading aloud.
My next steps are to read the story and read the whole story 2 times or I might forget it.

In this activity my task was to do shot put and I didn't get to throw but we had to do lots of actions.
I found this easy because I just had to do the actions.
My next steps are to improve on how to do everything quickly.

Holiday Tagul

My Reflection
In this activity my task was to go on Tagul. We had to type interesting words for our holiday. We had to first use the thesaurus, and before we had have use our book to get some fantastic words and we had to type them up after we typed the words we could customise them. I found this easy because we could use thesaurus. To get better words my next steps, are to get better words then crazily with ly.

In this activity my task was to practice doing my speech, so I might get in the speech finals, in my class.

I found this easy because I just had to present, my speech to the class.

I was surprised that I got through all the words.

My next steps are to not speak to fast and be confident.

In this activity my task was to read the chapters to find answers to answer the question.
I found this easy because I got to use learner dictionary's and  I knew most of the things.
Today I found out lots of new things.
My next steps are to not use to much  learner dictionary's.

In this activity my task was to choose a thing on Kiwikidsnews and answer the questions.
I found this easy because I just had to search something up on Kiwikidsnews.
My next steps are to give more detail.

My Reflection 

In this activity my task was to do addition or subtraction I did a easy one I figured it out it was 10, 20, 50, complements it got easy then harder then 9th question was hard cause it was 2+?=50,  it took time to figure out then I was finished. 

I found this hard because I was stuck on 38+?=50 I found it out after 30 seconds then I found it out it was 12.

My next steps are to tell how I worked the answer.

I found this easy because I read the book two time and I remembered them.

In this activity my task was to write a hundred word challenge I did more then 100 words i did a picture too.
It was easy because i knew lots of ideas but I chose only one idea.
I am most proud of The levitating idea.

In this activity my task was to read the boom first and then answer the question.
It was tricky because i had to read the book a lot I got stuck on question number 4 because I got confused with the question.
I know now that this would be very tricky.

It was tricky cause most of the questions got really hard.
My next steps are to not use google that much because then the question will just get easy.

it was tricky because i had more ideas but i couldn't fit all of them and they were good ideas,

I found this easy because i had to write only some sentences the sentences didn't  have to big

In the activity I read grey angels I when I was finished the book I had to do the answer it was very challenging. But I got through all of the questions.
It was easy to do all of the answers because the book was giving me most of the answers.

IN this activity my task was to write what celebrations I celebrate. I wrote Easter Halloween and Christmas and we had to write a memorable retell.
I found this easy because you just needed to write what you do in whatever you celebrate.

My Reflection
In this activity i had to read a book called zapped when you read it you need to read half of the book to get some answers.
i found this tricky cause it was very hard to find the answers at last lot of questions it got harder and harder
i think i did well it at reading the book and doing the first lot of  question
my next steps in reading are too write a sentence not one word.

Netball

My Reflection

i was sitting down in netball well corey was throwing the ball.

i really enjoyed netball it was very fun cause we first got pass it to your partner then we had go and join a team. and step on a pad and then you  would have the throw the ball at a cone to get a point when we were throwing the ball my partner was cameron. we missed only some balls and then when we split up i went on a orange pad, after a few times i got a turn to throw the ball i threw it to corey. then we had to run around then we finished

Number Squares - Solving addition problems

My Reflection i was learning to use my number knowledge to solve addition problems. i found this easy because  all the lines were connecting to each other so i got all the answers correct. i think i did well at the answers cause i got them all correct. my next steps in maths is i to think first if it's the correct answer.

In this activity I had choose a kiwikids  news story and summarise information about it.
I found this easy because you just had to find something that happened before and write it up.
I think I did well at writing everything.

My Reflection i was learning to use my senses to add detail to my writing. In my writing i used these senses taste smell hear feel and see i found this easy because there was a forest that gave me loads of ideas i think i did well at doing 106 words my next steps in m writing is to do less then 106 words like 100.

I have been learning to write a poem using simple imagery and google Slides to publish my writing.
i found this tricky because i needed a lot of help   on the Did you ever poem.

Welcome to my Year 4 learning blog. This year I am in room 15 and my teacher is Miss Massey I enjoy this class because we have a nice teacher and we play fun games like the blanket game.
